Zetwerk Manufacturing fixed the price band for a ₹5,012 crore listing that opens on 15 October 2026. The issue mixes ₹2,830 crore of fresh shares with a ₹2,182 crore promoter and investor sell-down, valuing the contract manufacturer near ₹26,000 crore at the top of the band.

On 11 October 2026, Zetwerk Manufacturing Business Ltd. announced the final price band for its initial public offering. Shares will be sold between ₹143 and ₹151 apiece in a ₹5,012 crore issue that opens for bidding on Thursday, 15 October. About ₹2,830 crore is a fresh issue to fund growth, while ₹2,182.3 crore comes from existing shareholders selling stock. At the top of the band the company would be valued near ₹26,000 crore. Retail investors get 10% of the book, qualified institutions 75%, and other non-institutional bidders 15%. Employees can bid at a ₹14 discount per share. Kotak, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Avendus, JM Financial, HSBC, and Pantomath are managing the sale.
Zetwerk sits in the business of sourcing and making industrial parts for sectors from defence to railways. A large fresh issue signals capacity and working-capital needs as customers ask for more local supply. The heavy offer-for-sale slice also shows early venture backers such as Peak XV, Accel, and Lightspeed taking partial exits after years of private funding. Promoter stake would fall from about 21% to roughly 16% once the deal closes. For manufacturing, the listing is less about a one-day pop and more about whether public-market scrutiny matches order-book visibility.
If you chase IPO allotments, note the tight retail quota and the holiday calendar: the issue closes on 19 October, allotment is on 21 October, and trading begins on 23 October while Dussehra falls on 20 October. Industrial suppliers and auto OEMs should watch whether Zetwerk uses fresh proceeds to deepen vendor parks or overseas plants. Investors already holding diversified manufacturing names can treat this as another test of whether India’s factory platform stories can trade at premium valuations without consumer-brand gloss.
Trade policy / exports
Commerce minister Piyush Goyal said on 22 October 2026 that India’s proposed free-trade agreement with the European Union could become operational within four to five months after signing, with the deal expected to be inked before year-end during his visit to Germany.
Food delivery / quick commerce
Swiggy reported on 22 October 2026 that September-quarter revenue rose 36% to about ₹7,571 crore and the consolidated net loss narrowed to ₹922 crore, as food delivery posted record adjusted core profit of about ₹349 crore while quick-commerce Instamart lost about ₹764 crore at the segment level amid heavier discounting and 69 new dark stores.
Quick-service restaurants / consumers
KFC and Pizza Hut operator Sapphire Foods India said on 22 October 2026 that September-quarter consolidated restaurant sales rose 20% year on year to about ₹885 crore, with KFC India same-store sales up 14% and adjusted EBITDA margin expanding 100 basis points to 7.1% even as the listed stock remained far below its 52-week high.
RBI / government borrowing
On 22 October 2026, the Reserve Bank of India accepted no bids at the scheduled sale of short-dated government treasury bills, the first full cancellation in about seven months, as investors demanded higher yields amid a bond selloff, oil-linked inflation fears, and expectations of more rate hikes after October’s policy minutes.
